Dr. Evanson, a Minnesota native, is a Purdue University graduate with a
degree in Bio-Medical Engineering, and he also holds a degree from Indiana
University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at
Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. He is board certified with
the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of
Surgeons. Dr. Evanson began his bariatric training during his residency, and he
now specializes in bariatric laparoscopic procedures, including the
lap-band.
