At Clarian North, we celebrate life, allowing a mother and her loved ones to design the birth experience they’ve always imagined. The Maternity Suites at Clarian North provide, spacious labor, delivery and recovery (LDR) suites that allow mom to have loved ones by her side as she labors and delivers in the same comfortable room and bed. Whirlpool tubs are available, in most rooms, for the mother-to-be to help reduce her pain and ease her labor.
Once the baby arrives, you will all stay together in your Maternity Suite so that mom and baby can bond skin-to-skin and breastfeeding can be intiated, if desired. You will aslo get to watch your baby's firsth bath.
Once mom and baby are medically stable, the entire family will retreat to a quiet, soothing, private postpartum space. You and your baby will be assigned the same nurse, who will provide "couplet care." Your baby may stay in your room as much as you wish, but a beautiful newborn nursery is available nearby as well.

Whether a pregnancy is "normal" or high-risk, our collaboration with Riley Hospital for Children ensures comprehensive care is readily available. Clarian North includes high risk maternal-fetal medicine services designed to care for at-risk patients (mothers and their undelivered children).
In addition, our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is managed by highly-trained nurses and neonatalogists specializing in the care of critically ill newborns. Located adjacent to the Maternity Suites, highly trained neonatologists and NICU nurses are available around the clock if needed. All this adds up to create an experience rich in the care you deserve.
Part of Clarian North's mission is to foster the health of our communities. One of the ways we can do this is to provide classes that educate community members, adults and children alike, on healthy living.
