The Ruth Lilly Hospice of Clarian provides quality end-of-life care, as we honor and celebrate life. We view death as a process, one in which the patient's wishes are key in the administration of caregiving. We neither hasten nor postpone death but believe that, through personalized services, a caring community and the skills of the interdisciplinary team, patients and their families can attain the necessary preparation for death.
The Ruth Lilly Hospice, which evolved from the state's first hospice at Methodist Hospital, is available to anyone with a life-threatening illness and a life expectancy of six months or less. The Hospice program serves patients residing in Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan and Shelby counties.
