From diagnostic services to eye exams, Methodist Medical Plaza East, located on Indianapolis' east side, offers a wide range of medical services.
Our east side location offers many lab services, including blood tests. Most test results are available within 24 hours. However, some tests that call for special processing may require additional time. Patients will need an order from their physician before we can complete any tests.
To schedule a lab test contact us by phone at 317-890-5479 or by fax at 317-890-5429. Lab hours are Monday, 6:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.; Tuesday - Thursday, 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Methodist Medical Plaza East provides the following radiology services:
All exams are read by a board-certified radiologist, and reports are made available to the ordering physician, usually within two to five days after the test.
Radiology exams performed at all Methodist Medical Plazas are kept on different types of storage media. Not every exam is kept on hard copy X-ray film. If you need a copy of your exam to take with you to a physician, we would be happy to provide you with a hard copy. We may need 24 hours' notice to ensure your exam is available to be picked up. Please contact the site where your exam was performed for more information.
To schedule a radiology service contact us by phone at 317-329-7272 or by fax at 317-328-6699. Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
You will need to schedule an appointment for most radiology tests, including mammography screening, ultrasound exam, CT scan and MRI exam. It is not necessary to schedule an appointment for laboratory tests, except in the case of a glucose tolerance test.
With the exception of mammography screening, patients will need to provide a physician's order for all tests performed at Methodist Medical Plaza Eagle Highlands. This order may either be turned in at the time of testing or faxed to us from the physician's office before your appointment.
Women who desire mammography screening do not need a physician's order. However, you will need to provide the name of your physician so that a results report can be sent to him or her. Please call us at 317-962-3580 or 317-278-9729 (XRAY) to schedule a screening test.
All patients must be registered before proceeding to the lab, radiology or surgery departments. Please bring your insurance/Medicare card(s) with you each time you visit the facility.
