About Treatment Options

Our neurologists, neurosurgeons, clinicians and scientists form multidisciplinary teams to discover, cure and treat diseases of the central nervous system, including brain tumors, back pain and spine conditions, movement disorders and severe neurological trauma. Clarian neurologists have extensive expertise in cerebrovascular/stroke care, neurodegenerative disease treatment, neurological-oncology, spine surgery and neurological trauma.

Clarian offers a Level 1 Trauma Center for neurological-trauma and critical care, providing the highest level of trauma care as recognized by the American College of Surgeons.

Clarian Neuroscience diagnoses and treats skull-base tumors. Due to the complexity of this region of the brain, this type of surgery is one of the most challenging procedures for a neurosurgeon to perform. To learn about our physician team and diagnosis, treatment, research and education, visit the Center for Skull-Base Surgery.

Functional neurosurgery is concerned with the treatment of conditions where central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) function is abnormal, although the structure or anatomy is normal. Our program is a multi-disciplinary approach using stereotactic deep brain stimulation with electrophysiological monitoring to treat Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders.
