Kidney Transplant

Clarian Transplant provides a full range of transplant services for adults and children. The program is continually ranked among the top five nationally for volume of solid organ transplants. Clarian performed 247 adult and pediatric kidney transplants in 2008.

Clarian Transplant provides kidney transplants using both deceased donors and living donors. Living donors are friends, relatives or anonymous donors who choose to donate a kidney, are found to be in good health and who pass the required tests to be accepted. Learn more about living donors.

Clarian Transplant also uses pulsatile machine perfusion of donor kidneys, which dramatically improves the chance of a successful kidney transplant.

Clarian draws upon a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive outcomes for all patients. Although rare, complications can arise, and Clarian is equipped to treat those challenges.

Because of our center's expertise, Clarian specializes in elderly and high-risk kidney transplants. The center also provides kidney transplant services for children. Rest assured, Clarian Transplant can provide any aspect of care that is needed.
